| There were a number of significant changes and challenges in 2006-2007. Listed below are some of last years developments: | |
| Nick Tomlinson set aside his
duties as Head of the Upper Secondary Department to develop a unit for
pupils with challenging behaviour within the Primary Phase.
Leona Caldwell was appointed as a permanent teacher. Two health care assistants have been appointed to meet the health care needs of one pupil during school hours. WELB proposals were taken forward to remove the control and management of the Autistic spectrum Advisory Service as a core service provided by the Special Education Dept, WELB. Under these new arrangements the Principal no longer manages the service on behalf of the WELB. Mrs Noreen Lloyd took premature retirement in June 07. In the past year, the school went officially smoke free. The school was informed that it will be moving to full budget delegation in April 08. |
