School Facilities

Foyle View School has many facilities to offer its pupils and these facilities continue to improve annually.

The hydrotherapy pool is not only used by the Physiotherapy Department for physiotherapy sessions, but also by the school staff for 'fun sessions' for students who may benefit from the therapeutic water.

The school also boasts a Sensory Room, which can be  stimulating for those who may have sensory disabilities, and is also a relaxing place to wind down.

The sensory garden has become part of the Play Trail, which has gone from strength to strength and now includes 3 play parks, a sensory park, an auditorium and a walking trail.

The school has improved the outdoor play areas within the grounds in recent years and each department has access to these areas.

Indoors, the school has a Soft Play Room, a P.E./Assembly Hall, a Library, greenhouse and a Hairdressing/Beauty Room.  The school is equipped with state of the art equipment for both practical use (hoists/slings/changing beds etc) and educational use (sensory trolley/music trolley/white boards/computers etc).

However a picture is worth a thousand words so why not watch this short video showing some of our facilities.
