Little Footprints

Children from the Secondary Department participated in the Little Footprints drama/poetry event in St Columb's Hall in November 2008, organised by John Magowan.

5 schools in total took part.  Foyle View had composed two poems and contributed lots of great art work and posters and performed to huge crowds over two days.

Drama

Ailbhe Hines facilitated creative expressive workshops with a bunch of talented young people at the school.  They explored their creativity through movement, drama and communication.

At the end of the workshop, the young people performed a play entitled 'A Bird's Life' on stage in the school.  The show was extremely well performed, with all of the cast - and indeed the audience - enjoying it thoroughly.

This year, Ailbhe is working with children in the primary department and they are enjoying her classes immensely.

An animation workshop was run in conjunction with the Nerve Centre. As well as creating their own clay figures, the pupils were encouraged to animate them by using video cameras and then watching their animation on screen.
